WHAT DOES YOUR SUPPORT DO?

Your donation will support our core mission: to provide people with a chance to come together to enjoy music that reminds us all of our place in a cross-cultural/global humanity and to celebrate the possibilities that arise from actively engaging in our cross-cultural connections.

Recent projects under the Table Pounding Music umbrella include:
Recordings: Together We Stand, (the sophomore album by klezmer-funk-hip-hop band Abraham Inc featuring David Krakauer, Fred Wesley & Socalled), and Breath & Hammer with Krakauer & Tagg;
Productions: such as Krakauer and Tagg's Breath & Hammer II: The Ties That Bind Us: a multi-sensory concert experience with live video and spatialized surround-sound;
Musical creations: most recently the score for The Fretless Clarinet: Concerto for Clarinet and Orchestra and In His Words: Please Dream (settings of the words of Archbishop Desmond Tutu)
Immersive Residencies: including genre-crossing/musical dialogue project commissioned by the Borderlands foundation in Poland titled Keepers of the Flame for multi-generational Polish klezmer band plus soloists from Syria and Ukraine.

We are adding our new residency, touring, and recording project, Krakauer & Tagg’s Good Vibes Explosion, to our fundraising initiatives. Created in response to the current climate of incredible polarization and negativity that pervades our daily lives. In these uncertain times, it’s a chance for all of us to come together to celebrate our common humanity.
